The SL Record Report 17 Jan 2019 (Records through 27 Nov 2018 less WBC 2018) Current Editor: Squad Leader Academy (Bill Thomson) Summer Salutations fellow Squad Leaders! This is the latest update through through 27 Nov 2018 less WBC 2018); includes WBC data from Peter Pollard and Scott Bramley's tournament page [https://sites.google.com/site/2012squadleadertourny/home] The search continues for my replacement though I will strive to issue another update (at least) this year. If you are interested in taking over the role of ROS Meister - please email me at my address below. For any matches not submitted through Scott Bramely's Page or WBC, Submit _your_ reports via the web: by email to bill@wargameacademy.org To prevent duplicate entries; include Players involved, Scenario Number & Name, which side won. Game End date Records since Sep 2009 are in a master database with details of each match, so duplication of records can be determined. Until Next Time, Bill Thomson 817-501-2978 CST Sachse, TX USA --------------------------------------------------------------- THE CUMULATIVE REPORTED RECORD FOR THE SL DISCUSSION LIST --------------------------------------------------------------- This is the official record for the SL Discussion List. The format was originally conceived for ASL by John Foley, and is now automated for ASL at http://www.jrvdev.com/ROAR/VER1/default.asp This list for SL was started and maintained by Dan Leader until July 1994. It then passed into the capable hands of Kevin Pietersen until November 1995. Alain Chabot maintained it from December 1995 to December 2003. Allen Evenson maintained it from January 2004 through July, 2009. The *only* qualification for submitting records is that you subscribe to the SL Mailing list. YOU MAY SUBMIT RECORDS FOR NON-SUBSCRIBERS. YOU MAY SUBMIT RECORDS FROM PAST YEARS. _AND_ If you attend a tournament, you may submit the tournament's results. I mean all of them, not only your own games. Please keep that in mind if you travel to one of them over the Summer. To submit your record of scenarios played, please send the scenario ID#, and the scenario winner for each of the scenarios you have completed or can vouch having been played. When you send me mail, I'll promptly send you a thank you note to confirm my receipt of your mail. [ED Note: I have not been sending individual confirmations as of late.] Please send your record entries to bill@wargameacademy . Make it clear in the subject line that the message is meant to add to the record (or correct it, or whatever). I suggest the subject "For the record". In the body of your message, tell me the ID# (if one exists) and the Title of the scenario and which side won. If you played against a fellow list member, please let me know who that person is and/or his email address. The best would be for you to use the same format I use for the recent dispatches below. Thanks for your cooperation. As usual, I remind you to send me email entries with a subject field that clearly identifies your message has containing a record entry. I may have omitted entries in the past if it was not clear at all what the message was about. I receive a *LOT* of email every day, and I tend to delete quite a bit of stuff. Feel free to include comments, after action reports. I will gladly read them and may even respond. But make sure the record entry itself is up front. If the message includes many entries, make sure they are all together. Do not assume I will read on and on only to find another report buried at the bottom of the email. Please do NOT include scenarios played solitaire. Play against any opponent by any means (FTF, PBM, PBeM) is great. I will accept the records for all SL/COI/COD/GI scenarios that have been published by TAHGC, either in the modules, the supplemental scenarios, or in the GENERAL. Records of non-AH scenarios will also be accepted if they have been published somewhere; these will be attached to the end with details of their origin and where they may be purchased or copied from. Please tell me about any mistakes you find. Thank you for your help. If you want to join the SL ladder or report a ladder game in progress, please contact Bill Thomson via bill@wargameacademy.org Recent Dispatches --------------------------------------------------------------- Here are the latest scenario results from the listees. These people are the reporters, not necessarily the scenario winners. If you see any mistakes in *your* summary, please write immediately. (Please note that when I get multiple reports of the same game, I list it under the first player to report). Recent dispatches are arranged in chronilogical order of receipt. The number to the right is the serial dispatch number) --------------------------------------------------------------- A special thanks is extended to the Squad Leader community, past and present.
