OAF 37.4"The Drive to Valgones"

scenario was originally published in ON ALL FRONTS number 37 (December 1985).The
original scenario author is David Pope. It was used in
the Origins 1985 GIA tournament as Scenario 4. Further
development, clarifications and modification have been made to the original
published scenario by Bill Thomson.
D Day +5 Normandy, June, 1944: Elements
of the U. S. 4th infantry Division, support by Divisional Armor vs elements of
the 709th Division
VICTORY CONDITIONS: The American player must have at
least 9 point of good order Troops and/or AFVs with any functioning armament
within 4 whole hexes of the east edge. Each AFV is worth 2 points, each squad
is worth 2 points, each HS is worth 1 pont. SMCs and AFV crews on foot do not
have any point value. Germans win by denying an American victory.
