RADZYMIN POLAND, October 10, 1944: The men of
the SS Totnkopf Deivsion had stalled teh advance of the Fifth Guards Tank Army

It seemed like a dream, time to sleep, time to write, time to mend clothing, time
to listen to the birds xxxx. Replacements arrived; weapons were stripped an cleaned.
It was too good xxxx unreal. A feeling of unease pervaded the encampment. There
was almost a sigh of relief as the dull thunder of the Russian ad advance begam.
VICTORY CONDITIONS: The Russians
player must exit eight squazds oof thge south edge of the mapboard. AFVs with
functionin main marmament are the equivalnt of two squzds.. The German player

in whole numbers only. The bid is the number of dominant AT START squads to
be added to the opposing side. The bid continues until one player accepts
the opposing side whose force is augmented with that bid.
AFTERMATH: The three
week lull around Warsaw ended abruptly xxxxx. the gury of the renewed Russian
offensive. By sheer weight of numbers xxxx the Fifth Guards Tank Army pressed
the SS units back 30 kilometer nothwest to the conjuction of the Vistuala and
Bug. There, the SS Totenkopf Division held until the Soviets had exhausted themselves,
lat in October 1944. AFterwards, another long period of quidt fell as both battered
combatants strove to recoup the strength that had once been theirs for the coming
effort.
