Squad Leader Series Scenarios Published by World Wide Gamers (WWW)

• The COD scenarios were produced by World Wide Wargamers for use with the Avalon Hill Squad Leader Series. No other scenario author information is found within the COD scenario booklet (scenarios 81-90). A note in this rule booklet states two scenarios The Stien Position and Assault on Wadenlincourt were previously published in the Wargamer magazine in addition to three in this booklet. Also noted is scenarios will continue to appear in the Wargamer which is cited as 'now the most widely read independent magazine'. No copyright date is noted on this booklet. the address for WWW is listed as 2950 San Pablo Avenue., Berkely, CA, 94702.
• The GIA booklet contains scenarios 91-100. Again no copyright date is cited. Credits for Scenarios 91-100 are listed as follows:

• Most of these have been modified by SQLA to resolve typos, clarifications, modifications, and to eliminate design flaws. Hence they do not match exactly the published form. Published errata have been incorporated
• Additionally, errata for COD scenarios 82 & 85 are found in the GIA booklet. (These Scenario Cards are already updated with errata.)
• Several COD Russian vs. German scenarios may be played at COI level with use of COD terrain rules, such as Orchards and Rivers.
• SPECIAL NOTES:

1. The customized VSQL Maps available for some scenarios may need to be UN-Zipped (or un-archived) to retrieve the board file before the board can be used!! Board files should have NO file extension (EX: " bd04f " or " bd06e " or " bd12g "). Unzip the board file and place the board into your board directory file. Please note that Version 4 & version 5 board files use the same filenames and should not be placed into the same directory. I use the file directory names " Boards_v4 " & " Boards_v5 " to keep them separated.
2. Players should be aware that each individual player may opt to use either set of board versions as determined by their own preference. One player may use version 4 boards and another version 5 for the same game. This is possible so long as all the boards used in the game have the same board filenames regardless of color preference. HOWEVER, although some of the boards may have the same filenames they may NOT report the same LOS as their earlier v5 color version. The reason for this is that some of the version 5 boards have been updated with the newer SK (Starter Kits) 'shadow' graphics. These differences are mostly with the lower numbered boards (1 thru 4).
